DMEGC, Hengdian Group’s photovoltaic module manufacturing subsidiary, has been awarded the EcoVadis Silver Medal at the Group level. The accolade recognizes DMEGC’s exemplar Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) practices within the photovoltaics and magnetics materials industry worldwide.

The Silver Medal places DMEGC in the top 15% of 150,000 companies across 250 industries and 185 countries worldwide assessed by EcoVadis.

EcoVadis is the world’s largest Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) rating firm, renowned for its rigorous evaluation process. It evaluates companies based on four categories: environment, labor and human rights, business ethics, and sustainable procurement. Assessments are conducted at three levels: Group, Entity and Site.

DMEGC scored 72 points out of 100, beating 92% of companies and positioning itself as a leader in photovoltaics and magnetic materials.

The Group-level award received by DMEGC is based on the performance of all domestic and international subsidiaries of an enterprise, making it a comprehensive evaluation of the company’s overall sustainability practices.

As the PV module manufacturing subsidiary of Hengdian Group, DMEGC has long been committed to sustainable development and the integration of sustainable principles into its corporate strategy and daily operations.
