Hengdian Group Capital (HgC) has recently completed an investment in Juli Automation, a high-tech manufacturer for electric drive assembly technology. Juli is a leader in producing assembly equipment for highly advanced electric motors, making it indispensable to a range of EV companies.

This marks Juli Automation’s first external fundraising round, led by the State Development and Investment Group (SDIC) and jointly invested by Hengdian Capital, CRRC Capital and Svolt Capital.

Electric drive assembly technology forms a crucial sector of the EV industry, as it directly affects power output and energy efficiency in the finished vehicle. Investment funding from HgC and other investors will be used to develop higher production efficiency, stronger power performance and ensure safe, stable operations. This will expand Juli’s global production capacity and accelerate R&D in next-generation electric drive solutions. In doing so, Juli hopes to further consolidate its leading position in the international market for electric drive assembly equipment.
