Hengdian Group’s DMEGC Magnetics has earned the 2025 National Green Factory designation, a top-tier honor in China’s manufacturing sector recognizing leading environmental protection practices.

It is DMEGC’s second time receiving the classification, awarded this time to its Jiangsu facility for high-efficiency photovoltaic modules. In 2020, DMEGC’s Hengdian headquarters first earned the title for its green manufacturing model in its hometown.

The National Green Factory designation spotlights excellence in land-use efficiency, clean production, waste recycling, and low-carbon energy usage. It is granted based on multiple provincial nominations and expert reviews by China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.

The 2025 awarded facility, Jiangsu DMEGC New Energy Technology Co, is a key manufacturing hub for high-efficiency photovoltaic modules. Its recognition in the list underscores the scalability of DMEGC’s operations beyond Hengdian.

Since its founding in 1980, DMEGC has deeply embedded environmental protection measures into all areas of operations, including rooftop solar installations, 100% water recycling systems, comprehensive waste sorting, and advance exhaust gas treatments.

Ongoing improvements in process optimization, resource recovery technology, and expansion of renewable energy coverage, enables DMEGC to position sustainability as both an operational imperative and a competitive edge.

These actions have significantly reduced energy use while boosting resource efficiency in all areas of operation. DMEGC aims to achieve peak carbon emissions by 2030 and reach carbon neutrality by 2050.
