Hengdian Wenrong Experimental School has signed an education partnership with the Westbourne School in the UK on January 6. According to the partnership, the two schools will work together in areas including curriculum development, faculty and student exchanges, and sharing education resources.

This new collaboration marks a valuable step in Wenrong Experimental School's international journey, as it hopes to bring students access to broader learning horizons and richer cross-cultural experiences.

Prior to the signing, a team from The Westbourne School visited Hengdian Wenrong Experimental School. They took campus tours, heard curriculum briefings, and held extensive discussions with Hengdian Wenrong's team, setting a solid foundation for the formal partnership.

In partnering with Westbourne School, Hengdian Wenrong seeks to pursue a more progressive and diversified international curriculum. Westbourne School is an globally-ranked International Baccalaureate (IB) school with multiple campuses, first established in Penarth, Wales, in 1896.

Hengdian Wenrong Experimental School was founded in 2021 by Hengdian Group as a high-end private bilingual school to support urban development and meet demand for quality international education in Hengdian.

It includes kindergarten, primary and secondary divisions on one campus, with an educational philosophy of digitalization, personalization, and internationalization. It currently serves around 1100 students across 36 classes.

In 2024, Wenrong Experimental School has already worked with Hong Kong's Yuen Yuen Primary School to design an integrated drama-based learning programs for primary students. The joint curriculum blends theatrical education with core subjects, emphasizing students’ holistic and diversified learning.
