Multiple distinct lighting designs by Tospo Lighting have won the 2025 German Red Dot Design Award, one of the highest honors in the industrial design world.

Not one, but three products - Lamp Blossom, Red Thread Lamp, and Dewdrops Lamp - were chosen from among tens of thousands of entries worldwide for the prize. The submissions, created specifically for this competition, were recognized for their exceptional design and innovative features. 

Each of Tospo’s winning designs is a nature-inspired creation that combines sustainability, innovation and art, born out of a year-long R&D process and nearly a hundred design proposals. 

Blossom Lamp simulates the act of flowers in bloom, constructed of recyclable plastic film; Red Thread Lamp embodies the unity and harmony of Eastern philosophy, using six flexible OLED modules that move together when the cord is pulled; and Dewdrops Lamp captures the moment that dew lands on fine mesh, creating modulating light with an adjustable net structure. 

The Red Dot Design Award, often called the Oscars of the design world, judges submissions based on rigorous and multi-dimensional evaluations by an international panel of experts, covering "innovation, functionality, aesthetics, and sustainability."

Earlier this year, Lamp Blossom also distinguished itself as a landmark work, winning the iF Design Award in 2025 as well. Together, the Red Dot Design Award, the iF Design Award and the U.S. IDEA Award make up the world's three largest and most influential design awards, representing the highest standards and future trends in industrial design.
