Tospo’s TUS Lighting revamps lighting design in 2000+ KFC restaurants across China

TUS Lighting, a commercial lighting brand for Tospo Lighting, has partnered up with KFC to roll out a nationwide revamp of its restaurant lighting in stores all across China. To date, TUS Lighting has redesigned the lighting for more than 2000 KFC restaurants across China.

The new designs prioritize comfort and customer experience by using tailored lighting solutions for different zones throughout the stores, the companies explained. Various setups help guide the customer journey across entry, ordering, dining and coffee breaks, maintaining consistency at scale with functional needs in different areas.

 

In the newly-fitted dining areas, TUS Lighting uses warm ambient lights to create a welcome first impression, bright lights at ordering and checkout, and soft uniform lighting at tables suitable for both solo meals and social gatherings.

Meanwhile, coffee areas combine focused accent lighting at the barista counter and more balanced lighting at tables, complementing the stores' wooden furniture finishes to create a more calm and refined setting.

TUS highlighted its three areas of focus when working with large chains like KFC: tailoring specialized lighting designs for different zones, maintaining consistent product quality across large-scale deployment, and ensuring high-quality standardized project management across all locations.
