Tourists - among them fans of Chinese historical fantasy dramas - have flocked to the Hengdian World Studios in eastern Zhejiang Province for a special lantern show celebrating the Spring Festival holiday. Chen Tong was there.

Many Chinese costume dramas were filmed at these studios. 

Chinese poems written on lanterns, giant lanterns in the shape of the loong, or dragon, will help you immerse yourself in the beautiful environment.

Parts of the light show recreate scenes from what are known as Xianxia or immortal hero dramas, a genre that blends Chinese mythology with fantasy.
