Hengdian Wenrong Hospital is a comprehensive non-profit second-class A medical institution initiated by Xu Wenrong, founder of Hengdian Group and wholly owned by Hengdian Group. It is a designated unit of medical insurance and a member hospital of the National Medical Insurance Network. Since the establishment of the hospital in 2000, it has won honorary titles such as baby-friendly hospital, national honest private hospital, and national people's rest assured demonstration hospital.
The hospital covers an area of 80000 m2 and invests 1 billion yuan. It is designed and built according to the standards of the tertiary general hospital. The first phase has a construction area of 90,000 m2 and 700 beds. It can receive 2,500 outpatient clinics every day. There are more than 670 employees, including more than 220 middle and senior titles.
The hospital is a member unit of the medical group of the Tenth People's Hospital affiliated to Shanghai Tongji University, the second hospital affiliated to Zhejiang University Medical College and the fourth hospital, and establishes a specialty medical association with many other provincial hospitals. The hospital is committed to exploring a new model of "medical health + tourism" and actively creating a shared medical health platform. It is the first unit in central Zhejiang to open an "air rescue" channel.
