| 萨姆帕斯（Sampath）是一个10岁男孩，出生于一个富裕的僧伽罗人家，妈妈离开了这个家庭，爸爸也很少关心儿子，由于缺少父母关爱，萨姆帕斯性格变得郁郁寡欢。在遇到新来的小女仆--泰米尔园艺师的8岁女儿之后，萨姆帕斯的生活发生了变化。两个孩子变得十分友好，男孩开始爱讲话了，但只是和泰米尔人在一起时。男孩的父亲具有种族观念，想把女孩撵走，但医生建议他不要这样做。最后，萨姆帕斯的性格几乎和正常人一样了。后来，在这个国家爆发了僧伽罗与泰米尔之间的种族冲突，男孩的父亲被杀了，母亲带走了女孩。在失去这个新的世界之后，萨姆帕斯回到了他初始的迷茫状态。电影试图说明，在种族冲突中孩子是无辜的。 |

| Sampath, a ten-year-old boy born in a rich
Singhalese family is mentally depressed and mute due to lack
of parental love. His mother has left the family and the father
pays no attention to his son. Sampath's life begins to change
after meeting the 8-year-old new servant girl who is a daughter
of a Tamil gardener. Two children get very friendly and the
boy begins to speak, but only Tamil. the boy's father has a
racist attitude and wants to expel the girl but the doctors
advise him not to do so. Eventually, Sampath becomes almost
normal. The racial conflict explodes between Singhalese and
Tamils in the country. The girl's father is killed and the mother
takes the girl away. After losing the whole new world, Sampath
reverts to his original disturbed life. The film is an attempt
to question the racial hatred through the innocence of childhood. |

| 索马尼特·迪森亚克获得的第一个学位是来自伦敦大学的X光诊断学位。在行医的同时，他研究了戏剧艺术，并创作、导演了一系列舞台剧。他不回避有争议的主题，结果他的一些作品因为政治背景问题被禁演。后来，他移居到澳大利亚，在那里他研究电影和电视艺术，并获得悉尼大学导演学硕士学位。他的处女作"Saroja"获得获得9项国际大奖。《小天使》也在Isfahan国际儿童电影节上获得金蝴蝶奖。 |

| Obtained his first degree in diagnostic radiography
from the London University. While practicing medicine, he studied
theatre arts and wrote and directed several stage plays. He
hasn't hesitated to explore controversial subjects and some
of his productions have been banned on political grounds. He
migrated to Australia and studied film and television there.
He holds a M.A.in direction from Sydney University. His debut
feature film Saroja had won nine international awards. Little
Angel too has won the Golden Butterfly at Isfahan International
Film Festival for Children. |
