| 阿里和丹尼是来自伦敦与德黑兰的两个年轻演员，受邀请携带他们主演的电影参加在伊朗Isfahan举办的电影节。他们两人住在宾馆的一个房间里，尽管他们想互相了解、想成为朋友，但由于语言与文化的差异造成了很多误解，甚至发生争吵。在电影节所有客人参加的一次旅游中，两位男孩在Isfahan的集市上走失了。丹尼听到一个秘密，有一个国际走私团伙计划用一个死亡的阿富汗男孩尸体装运古钱币，运出这个国家。为了阻止丹尼将这些秘密说出去，走私集团绑架了他，并把他带到了位于沙漠中心的一个遥远的古城堡。结果是阿里营救了丹尼，可是，到底是如何营救的呢？ |

| Ali and Danny, two young actors from London
and Tehran, are invited to a film festival in Isfahan, Iran,
along with the movies they have acted in. They share a hotel
room, and although they would like to get to know each other
and become friends, the linguistic and cultural differences
cause many misunderstandings and, eventually, a fight. On a
tour with all the festival guests, the two boys get lost in
the Isfahan bazzar. Danny overhears the secrets of an international
gang of criminals that is planning to smuggle antique coins
out of the country inside an Afghani boy's dead body. To stop
him telling what he knows, Danny is captured and taken to a
remote old castle in the middle of the desert. It's Ali who
rescues Danny. But how? |

| 阿扎德于1956年出生在德黑兰，毕业于德黑兰大学社会学专业。他是一位著名的诗人、儿童文学作家以及儿童电影与青年电影的制作家。他是伊朗"儿童青少年电影协会"的创始人，从1997年成为董事会成员，1999年起，成为CIFEL成员。1999年，以一部微型电视系列剧《空空的手臂》（The
Empty Arms）开始了他的电影导演生涯。《阿里和丹尼》是他的第一部成名作。 |

| He was born in 1956 in Tehran. He is a graduate
from the Tehran University in sociology. Azad is a reputed poet
and writer of children's books and a well-known producer of
films for children and young adults. He is the founder and a
board member of Iranian Association of Cinema for Children and
Youth since 1997 and a CIFEJ member since 1993.He began his
career as a film director in 1999 with a mini television series,
The Empty Arms. Ali and Danny is his first feature film. |
